About us
Lazy Turtle Docks is a family owned, Michigan Limited Liability Company. We have grown up with the laborious chore of installing and removing a heavy wooden dock year in and year out. With the old dock starting to rot, we started to look for a new docking system for our lakefront. To our surprise, we couldn’t find a system that was worth our hard earned money! Sure, there are some really nice systems out there, but try installing some of them. They are heavy, even the aluminum ones, and really expensive! We did find some cheaper options, but they seemed flimsy and weren’t easily configurable.
So we knew we could do better. We put our engineering background to work to deliver a feature - laden dock that is strong and incredibly priced. Our family looks forward to meeting your lake front needs, and we are confident you will enjoy your Lazy Turtle Dock as much as we do.
